We create greater opportunities for people, to understand for themselves, how our Philosophy can enhance their lives in a meaningful way. The ‘London County Cricket Club Experience’ is centred on three key elements:
1. A Collective Vision - the importance of participation in this
2. A Collective Effort - understanding the importance of the qualities for relationship-building (both existing and new) and the expansion of ‘self ’
3. A Bigger Picture – contributing to the development of others and a wider society.
Our ‘Coaching 4 R.E.S.U.L.T.S’ ethos is about creating :
- Responsible
- Environments with
- Specialists 4
- Unique
- Learning with
- Time 4
- Self-discovery
The one2one London County Bespoke Mentoring Programmes nurture people ‘in balance’ by using ‘The Performance Pyramid’ developed in consultation with London County Mentor Dr Ken West from America. The base of The Performance Pyramid is ‘The Plan’ (where does the individual want to go?; what sacrifices may the person need to make to get ‘on track’?; how to take the next steps on the ‘journey’ of self-discovery?).
Our balanced development programmes are centred on applying learning experiences on all of ‘The 4xI’s’ (Intelligences) which make up the four sides of The Performance Pyramid. The vision of ‘The 4xI’s’ is to develop every ‘Intelligence’ in balance with each other :
- Business Intelligence- developing a personal brand, defining values, ensuring a balanced exchange of energy
- Emotional Intelligence- understanding and managing personal responses to experiences
- Tactical Intelligence- understanding importance of timing, strategy, quality decision-making and intuitive ‘feel’
- Technical Intelligence- developing the ‘hardware’ to execute strategy successfully.
London County Workshops enable people to experience the London County Philosophy and understand more about 'self'; the meaning of respect; the concept of space; and how energy works best.
We invite people into ‘our space’ and offer them insights into our London County Philosophy. Our mentoring style enables people to have fun and learn. We stimulate people's thinking and allow them the ‘personal space’ to enhance their personal growth.
Our Workshops offer people an opportunity for reflection. They are designed to empower the individual to become responsible for their own development with an increased awareness of ‘self’.
The art of communication, and in particular conversation, is a focus for London County Leadership Workshops. People involved in senior management and those aspiring to this level, can share concepts; enjoy reflection; and observe the application of ideas on both an individual and group basis in a 'safe environment’. It is an opportunity for people to expand their leadership and interpersonal skills. Our ‘Let’s Talk Sport and Life’ concept is based on our Lead Mentor Ken Jennings’ latest book and offers people time and space in the company of experienced Mentors.
London County Workshops are of 1-day, 3-day, and 8-day duration. They take place at top-class venues including Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa in Surrey, 'home from home' for England’s World-Cup Winning Rugby Team. Our 8-day Workshop is named ‘Food for the Soul' and is a ‘back to nature’ experience held near The Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa.
Our Professional Mentors create contexts in keeping with our ethos and aligned to our Philosophy. London County Workshops nurture people to be able to enjoy the self-discovery process and encourage everyone to discover new territory. This enables the learning process to be never-ending.
