London County Cricket Club’s Development XI achieved an unlikely and remarkable victory in their recent 3-day fixture against Cambridge University CC at Fenners (June 23/24/25), scoring 468 for 7 to win by 3 wickets.

Anil Kumble, London County International Ambassador, scored 110* against England at The Oval, his maiden test century in his 118th test match for India. In taking Monty Panesar's wicket in the first innings, he also became the third highest Test wicket taker of all time, passing Glenn McGrath's 563. Congratulations Anil!

Marcus Buckland, taking part for The Players London County reenacted the traditional cricketing fixture of The Gentlemen versus The Players in the inaugural Captain's Golf Day. The teams were captained by Eamonn Hodgson and Nick Compton. The match finished all square.
