A fine bowling display by Tahir Afridi was one highlight of a fine London County team performance at the Denis Compton Oval, Shenley.
MCC Captain Nick Lamb, son of former ECB Chief Executive Tim Lamb, won the toss and elected to bat in a two innings two day grade rules match.
MCC made 367 for 9 dec with Tahir Afridi of LCCC taking 5 wickets and Gemaal Hussain 3 wickets. In reply LCCC made 407 for 8 dec with Grant Flower making 99 Tim Linley 100 not out and Gemaal Hussain 72.
The match was drawn with London County winning on first innings.
